The Hard Way
I'm Joeri Veth. I've spent the last decade helping handlers and helpers in IGP, AS, and PSA dog sports of all levels. I am an IGP and AS judge, trainer, and competitor.
I remember during the early stages of my journey and working with clients

- working through ideas, systems, and techniques they didn't understand with their dogs

Absolutely! As a handler, you are an essential part of your dog's protection training. Many of the concepts are important for the handler to understand to assist the helper and vice versa. Handlers and helpers form part of the dog's training team, and there are many exercises that we demonstrate that handlers can train without the helper that will prepare your dog for any helper you work with.
But we don't only cover protection work. We also delve into problem-solving videos for obedience and tracking.
We go over the various pieces of equipment available to handlers and helpers in detail, where you can decide on what is important for you to help your dog.
